Youthtown

Wednesday room 14 going to the Trip. We go in the bus and some girls was singing in the bus. It was funny in the bus.

We went to Youthtown and there was a swimming pool and we played with the clay. First we looked for inspiration for our designs. Second we did carefully created our designs. 

Third we cut the edges of the clay with a bamboo stick. Fourth we rolled out coils of clay using our palms then fingers. Fifth we used the slip that is in the jug to stick the pieces of clay together. Sixth we made a design.

I made an octopus. It was cool. Seventh we put melted glass in the clay. Eighth we put our names beside our finished clay sculptures .  

Then we had morning tea and went swimming. We met a room 17. They went to make clay sculptures, and we went swimming. Everyone had fun. I really enjoyed swimming. At last we had to back to the school.

1. How do you feel about the work you did? Why?

   It was hard because I have to copy my art work.

2. What do you feel that you did well? Why?

   I feel well because my artwork is very well and I feel great.

3. What do you feel you did not so well? Why?

   I did not so well because my practice is not so well

   and I feel not great.

4. What would you do differently next time? Why?

   Next time I’m gonna change my colours and my design.

The Tiger and the Deer

One day there was a big tiger. He was hungry and he lived
in a jungle. He saw a wild deer. He wanted some meat.

The animal was fast and the tiger said, “I want some meat. I will get him”. The deer was running fast and the tiger was looking and the tiger ran after him and the deer was afraid but he got away.                                                         

My dog

I have a big dog his name is Mark he is brown.

I keep my dog in his kennel.

My dog eats meat, chews on bones and drinks lots of water.

He likes me to play ball with him. When

I throw it he goes and gets it and brings it back to me.

I take my dog in the car to the playground and  we play together. We go to the pet shop to get food for him. He likes going in the car.

My friend likes to play with my dog too.

When I go to beach with my pet I throw the ball to him and Mark goes to get it.

My dog likes to go swimming in the water.

Team 5

I liked team 5 because Mr.Barks was funny. Red made him feel angry, yellow made him feel like dancing and blue made him feel a little bit sad.

Pteranodon

First of all we chose which dinosaur to draw. I drew a Pteranodon. We followed the instructions on how to draw it. I tried my best. Next we traced it onto a good piece of paper and coloured it in. The next day we painted the background. After that we cut out our dinosaurs and put them on the background.
